Sandra Charle and Tepson Brillant are two graduates of St. Rose of Lima who went on to public school in Pignon. They are interested in teaching, and spent a month working at St. Rose at teaching assistants. Both are excited about the work. It is important for the town of Jacsonville to have local teachers working in the community, especially to keep the investments in the school.
Since the beginning of October, Tepson and Sandra have been learning about education at the “Institut Pratique de Formation Pedagogique” in Cap Haitian. This is a three year program, and will cost around $2000 per year to attend, including costs of materials and transportation. Please help us send these two bright Jacsonville natives to school, in turn helping the school gain two teachers invested in the success of their community!
