Medications

The medications for every medical mission trip cost between $1500 and $2,000 every three months. Many of those in the community have chronic conditions that require medication refills, and acute conditions are a constant among a population that suffers from a high degree of malnutrition. Funds are needed to treat infections of all kinds, high blood pressure, heart conditions, intestinal parasites, and chronic pain, as well as rare conditions such as those with physical disabilities, epilepsy, and psychiatric conditions to name a few. This is the organization’s greatest ongoing cost, and will continue to be a financial need long into the future.Amount needed: Any amount, as the costs are ongoing
